A monthly ministry that prepares and serves meals for homeless men, women and children in San Antonio.Meet every third Saturday of the month, teams from SCUMC prepare a meal in the morning at 9:00am, and then serve the meal in the evening from 5:30 to 8:30 in downtown San Antonio.

Sews and assembles washable feminine hygiene kits for girls in developing countries. We meet at the church on the fourth Thursday of the month from 9:30 am - noon. Sewing and non-sewing help needed. Contact Jill Klop at email Jill
Meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month in mornings from 9:00am-12:00pm in the fellowship building. They provide quilts to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of Children’s Hospital of San Antonio. Come and enjoy fellowship and sewing!“Not a quilter? We’d love to teach you!”
The United Methodist Committee On Relief (UMCOR) trains early response team volunteers to help with clean-up and rebuilding efforts after a disaster.
A collaborative group of non-profits, Boerne ISD, and city government working together to improve lives of at-risk children in Boerne.

A nationwide organization with a San Antonio chapter. SCUMC members (including youth) have participated in Saturday morning build and delivery sessions. SHP is always looking for volunteers (with varying levels of commitment). This is a great place for people to get connected with part time mission work.
An outreach ministry to provide individuals and families with transformation assistance to recover from personal or financial emergencies.
Is a group of volunteers who meet together once a month to make lap size quilts which are given to people confronting serious illness or personal turmoil. Prayer quilts remind the recipient that God is there in the midst of their struggles, and that many people are praying for them.
