Taking It to the Streets

A monthly ministry that prepares and serves meals for homeless men, women and children in San Antonio.
Meet every third Saturday of the month, teams from SCUMC prepare a meal in the morning at 9:00am, and then serve the meal in the evening from 5:30 to 8:30 in downtown San Antonio.

Is a group of volunteers who meet together once a month to make lap size quilts which are given to people confronting serious illness or personal turmoil. Prayer quilts remind the recipient that God is there in the midst of their struggles, and that many people are praying for them.
