Rhonda Russell

Children and Families Director

Rhonda grew up in the Calallen area of Corpus Christi, Texas, and lived there until she moved to the San Antonio area in 2008. In 2015, she and her two children settled in Boerne, where they are happy to call home for the years ahead.
After 20 years in the insurance industry, Rhonda received the call to Children and Family Ministry as a full-time vocation in 2017. She excitedly accepted the call and has shared her passion and love for children and the Lord. Rhonda is a master organizer and has a creative vision that she uses to bring the gospel to life for children. Her heart for Christ reflects in everything she does at Spring Creek and beyond. She considers it an honor and a privilege to provide a positive and growing environment for all children and families that come our way.
Rhonda enjoys spending time with family and friends. She has volunteered with Taking it to the Streets, an outreach program serving people who are homeless in San Antonio, since 2011, and has been on the board since 2016. She enjoys running and playing with her goldendoodles. Rhonda has also never met a hamburger she didn’t like!
