Christ Child Offering

Every year at Christmas we are invited to accompany Mary and Joseph on their journey to Bethlehem. There we witness the birth of Jesus as he is wrapped in bands of cloth and laid in a manger because there is no room for them in the inn. It is here that we kneel in adoration and remember, God is with us.
This holy presence of God is not only present at Jesus’ birth but is with us today. Now it is we who are asked to carry this message that God is with us to all people. We bear the light of Christ through our words, actions, gifts, prayers and presence.
This year Spring Creek’s Christ Child Offering will support two ministries which provide safe housing for our brothers and sisters in need. Habitat for Humanity and Next Step Ministries.

This year may our gifts bear witness that God is with us.

Holy Darkness Blessed Nigh

A meditative service of candlelight, prayer and reflective music with piano, and strings.

Dec. 21st  6:30-7:15 pm

Whether your time is filled with a hectic pace of preparation or a slow, quiet pace of silence. Come step away and nourish your soul in a time of prayer and reflection.

The holiday seasons are often brimming with many emotions. For some this is a joyous time while for others it is a time of pain and sorrow.  The message of Christmas is that God is with us through all of life's circumstances. Christ comes and dwells among us.

This reflective service will be a time to listen to beautiful music in the sacred space of the Spring Creek sanctuary while reflecting on the holy presence of Christ. Come quiet your mind and body to find rest and healing for your soul.

Sunday Welcome

Do you enjoy people and hospitality?

The Sunday Greeting Teams have many opportunities for you to serve as you welcome folks to worship, provide name tags while recording attendance, connect visitors with members and staff, brew coffee and set out cookies, usher folks to seats, collect offering, and just be that friendly and helpful person when needed. If you are looking for a way to serve while employing your hospitality gifts, contact Amy Anderson at amyanderson186@gmail.com to join the Sunday Greeting Teams

Mission Opportunity

The Kronkosky Center in Boerne needs teams to deliver meals on Mondays from 10:00 – 12:30 as part of their “Meals on Wheels” program. Meal deliveries will cover an approximate 10-mile radius in Boerne. We’re looking to form a mission group of about 10 people so that each two-person team will have an assignment of one Monday a month. An application and background check are required to participate. Please contact Janette Reamer jreamer@gvtc.com or Susan Deas susan.m.deas@gmail.com for more information.
