UMCOR Early Response Disaster Recovery

SCUMC’s UMCOR Team has sent volunteers to the coast after Hurricane Harvey and to Wimberly after river flooding devastated that community.  During the first few weeks or months after a disaster ONLY specially trained early response teams can enter a disaster area due to health concerns and infrastructure limitations.  Training ahead of time is required to be able to serve on this mission team.  To be a part of this mission, contact Randall Browning at 281-415-1536.  Learn more and find training opportunities at the UMC Rio Texas Conference Web Page.
