The world we live in was called into existence and proclaimed good by the Creator. This goodness is always within our reach, and it is there for us to put our focus upon.
What's clear, though, is that there's conflict.
God listens to our cries.
God hears our pain.
Blessings come when God and people are mixed together.
Methodists sometimes use the term prevenient grace to speak of the goodness that befalls all of us our whole life long.  God simply has a way of bringing good things into our days.

Blessings come when we hold fast to God in the here and now. God promises to bless all nations through Abraham's family. But this chosen family continually rebels and distrusts God. How will His promises prevail?
