Holy Gift

There is a line attributed to King David in the Bible that occurs multiple times. It occurs in four of the Psalms, and you can also find it in 1 Chronicles 16:34.  The line is this: “Give thanks to the Lord for he is good, his faithful love endures forever”. So, here's the one good thing that is also perfect, God. God is good and perfect because God's love endures forever. One thing that we can trust is God's goodness. It will always be there for us, so the good things around us are worth our consideration. They're worth our attention. They remind us of God. Savor what is good. Because there really is so much goodness around us.
